Rules and Directions

Hello freshman of University Laboratory High School. We have gotten ourselves into an extremely unpleasant situation, and we need your help to get us out of it. Your job is to find QR codes, scan them, watch videos, and solve riddles to remedy our situation. Follow the Directions on the scanner tab. Click the link to be lead to a video that contains a clue as to where the next QR code is. Find that one and repeat. Remember this is a matter of happiness and eternal suffering, so you guys better go fast. If you help us with this, we will give you and your group a reward. Before you embark on your hunt, we need to alert you of some rules:

1. Do not remove the QR-codes after you have found them, seeing as other groups will need them.

2. You may not share any information your group has collected with other groups. If you do share information and we find out, your group will be disqualified. If you share information with another group and we do not find out, the other group might get to the prize first! So beware of what you talk about to your friends.

3. If you suspect that a clue is in a classroom, you need to wait until the classroom is empty (i.e. there is no class in it) until you can enter and search for the clue.

4. Do not duplicate the QR-codes for external sale or use.

5. You will be placed into groups for this hunt. Refer to the Groups section on our website (qrtreasure.web.illinois.edu) for your groups.

6. When you have found the QR-code that leads you to a video called Congrats, remove that particular QR-code and bring it to one of the group members (Leo, Wes, or Noah) as proof of your completion.

7. The clues will be hidden in plain sight, they may be on the sides, backs, or bottoms of things. Do not root around in someone's paper or belongings to find the code. You will not find it this way!

8. Have fun!
